VPNs for Routers and Unlimited Devices
A household runs more devices than most VPN plans allow, and many of them, from consoles to smart speakers, cannot run a VPN app at all. There are two ways around that: a provider that allows unlimited or at least 10 simultaneous connections, or a VPN installed on the router so everything behind it is covered at once. Weigh the connection limit as the provider states it, which router firmware or models it supports, whether it sells a preconfigured router, how involved the setup guide looks, and whether a family plan gives separate logins rather than one shared account.
